How does Redmond Bath Salt promote better health?
Due to the abundance of natural trace minerals in our salt, Redmond Bath Salt provides healing properties for the skin and body. Toxins are released from the body into the bath water through osmosis, while trace minerals from the sea salt are absorbed through the skin.
Are there any additives in Redmond Bath Salt?
All of the minerals in Redmond Bath Salt are naturally occurring. Most bath salts on the market today have oils and fragrances added to them (which may cause allergic reactions) and often times leave an oily residue around the rim of the tub. Our bath salt, on the other hand, is so natural, you can eat it!
Redmond Bath Salts contain more than 60 natural trace minerals which are great for the body and skin including potassium, magnesium, selenium, zinc, and more. The difference is that our Redmond Bath Salt Plus has a higher concentration of minerals and natural clay than our Redmond Bath Salt. While both are very effective in detoxifying and remineralizing the body, Redmond Bath Salt Plus is preferred by some because of the higher concentration of minerals which are natural present in the salt.

Detox Bath Recipe:
1-2 Cups of Redmond Bath Salts Plus
A Few drops of Essential Oils like Lavender
1/4 Cup of Baking Soda (Add to water 10 mins or so before adding other ingredients)
Soak in bath for 20 minutes or as long as desired, making sure the back of your neck is under the water most of the time. Note that with any detox bath, you may feel tired or lightheaded when you get out. We don’t recommend doing this while home alone or before going somewhere in case you are tired or need help.
