Lumino Dry Deodorant Shampoo for Pets is an all-natural, easy to apply waterless shampoo that keeps all furry pets clean and smelling fresh.

Want a clean smelling pet?? Don't want to struggle bathing your pet, neither does your pet. Grooming bills expensive? Here is a gentle solution.

It is a gentle and safe option. The all food grade ingredients are harmless for humans, pets, and the environment. This unique blend feels as soft as fine French powder. It is even safe if ingested.

Hydrosols are like essential oils only far less concentrated. This makes them safe for pets, especially felines that should never be exposed to essential oils. They are slightly acidic, making them beneficial for skin with their healing anti-inflammatory and mild, yet therapeutic, antiseptic properties.

Directions: Select a location that you can easily sweep or vacuum. Brush pet throughly. Lightly massage into pet's coat. Let shampoo sit for 15 minutes. Groom pet with brush to remove excess dirt and oils. Avoid eyes, ears, and nose. Lightly sprinkle around pet's bedding as a further odor deterrent.

Ingredients: Organic food-based, Diatomaceous Earth, bentonite clay, sea salt, non-aluminum baking soda, and organic hydrosols of lavender and lemon balm.

Available Size: 7 oz

Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is not earth or dirt. It is the fossilized remains of microscopic shells created by one-celled aquatic plants (diatoms). Over the eons, as these diatoms fossilized, they retained their tubular shape and holes. Their shape and hardness produces extremely pure and consistent DE.

There are different grades of DE. Of the 600 deposits in the US, only four are considered food grade. Lumino DE is rated food-grade by the USDA and considered GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA. It is almost pure white and consists of 89-94% silicon dioxide plus other trace minerals.

There are two original sources for DE: fresh water and salt water. Our fresh water deposit began eons ago as pure snow. The snow's run off provided the water source the diatoms lived in. Diatoms in fresh water form a harder more uniform shaped shell than those in salt water.

The silica in Lumino DE is amorphous. This is silica in its naturally occurring state. It is a trace mineral every mammal on the planet needs for survival. DE is dangerous when the silica in it is crystallized by exposure to extreme heat. This type of DE is never considered food grade.
